Thinking about falconry as a hobby or profession ?

Perhaps you'd like to own a bird of prey or maybe just learn a little more about raptors. Owls, hawks and falcons are not pets. To keep them happy, healthy and fit requires time, commitment and knowledge. Whatever your ambition we have a course to suit your needs.

Meet The Birds

A half day session for adults or children who wish only to hold and fly the owls and hawks. Starts at 10am with a short talk about the different birds and equipment used in falconry. Then it's off to the weighing shed and flying ground. The birds you fly will depend on your age and preference.

Of course, we can't predict how our birds will react to strangers. Henry, the most experienced and canny hawk, might land gracefully on your glove. Or he may try to snatch his snack from you in flight then disappear into a tree to eat it.
